Mother Bodija class of 2022 comes home
Joy once again filled the walls of the seminary community as the 2021/2022 graduating set of the Seminary came back for their thanksgiving. This is a tradition of the Seminary, wherein she receives her children back who have come to say thank you to God, thank you to the Seminary that nurtured their vocations and thank you to the formators who were responsible for their formative process.SSPP Bodija
This event began with the arrival of members of the 2022 set into the Seminary on the 25th of February, 2025 and they quickly joined in the beautiful sports that characterized their formative years in the Seminary. A lot of them were seen to be on the football pitch, still in good sport shapes, on the basketball court displaying their talents and even on the volleyball court showing the younger ones how it is done. At supper, they joined the seminarians in their meal, with a feeling of nostalgia for their experiences while in the seminary.

The following day, 26th of February, 2025 began with the mass which was largely characterized by their presence. This class of 2022, having one of the most population in recent times, saw the entire class being in attendance, with priests from Abuja, Kontagora and even the Republic of Benin. They encouraged the seminarians and the seminary community, expressing their deep sense of gratitude to God for the gift of the priesthood and to the seminary of Saints Peter and Paul and her formators which played a major role not just in their formation but in their growth as individuals. They pledged their continuous support for the Seminary and requested that the Seminary community remember in her prayers, the soul of one of them, Rev. Fr. Charles Igechi who passed on barely seven (7) months after his ordination.

It was a day of rejoicing and the Seminary community represented by the Vice-Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Hubert Opara, continued to assure the members of the class of their unwavering welcome whenever they were in the Seminary or its environs
