The high-point of the grand welcoming of the newest proprietor of the seminary, was the administering of the rite of candidacy to the seminarians of the first year theology; where thirty-two (32) seminarians from different dioceses in Nigeria were admitted as candidates for the Catholic priesthood by His Lordship, Most Rev Anselm Pendo Lawani on behalf of the Bishops of the region. In his homily, he urged the intending candidates to look up to Jesus who was the paradigm to which their lives must be modeled after. Very Rev Fr Francis Adedara thanked the bishop for accepting to carry out this function on behalf of the bishops of the region and for giving Bodija a special place in his heart and assured him that he always had a home in Bodija. He concluded by commending him and the Christ’s faithful of Ilorin Diocese into the hands of God.
