A fundamental theory that is evident in human life is growth and change and sociologically remains part of every human’s life. This also depicts one of the beauties of the Catholic priesthood; being able to look back at the years spent, give glory to God and ask for grace for the years ahead. This was the joy expressed by the 2014 set who visited their alma mater today 19th November, 2024 to mark the tenth (10th) year of their priestly anniversary. They expressed this joy through reminiscing the seminary activities, the games every Tuesday from 4:00pm till 5:30pm, the beautifully chanted vespers and compline (evening and night prayers), the tasteful evening meal and everything that encompasses the beauty of the seminary. At supper, a representative of the class, Rev Fr Victor Okire gave a beautiful quote in his admonition to the seminarians, “if you are given a responsibility, it is okay not to like it, but never be termed irresponsible because you do not like it.”

The following day 20th November 2024, the class gathered for the thanksgiving mass in the seminary chapel which began at 6:30am and the homilist, Rev Fr Jude Nwabokei emphasized letting God justify the call he has given to us because He knows best. He said that like the stewards in the Scriptures, we have been entrusted with talents which we will be accountable for before God when the time comes to give accounts.

The class thanked the formators for their tireless efforts in keeping excellence as a paradigm in the seminary and pledged their continuous support for the seminary and the alumni association.
